The al-ʽAqīda aṭ-Ṭaḥāwiyya is one of the fundamental texts thatcontain the principles of belief adhered by the great Ḥadīth, Fiqhand ʽAqīda scholar Imām Abū Ja‘far aṭ-Ṭahāwī of the Ḥanafī school,as well as the three Imāms of the school: Imām Abū Ḥanīfa, ImāmAbū Yūsuf and Imām Muḥammad (may Allah be pleased with themall).This foundational text, which has been commented on by variousscholars throughout history, has unfortunately been almost forgottenin our country in recent times. The work you hold in your hands consists of brief explanationsthat we have made regarding the al-ʽAqīda aṭ-Ṭaḥāwiyya text inthe ‘Aqīda lessons followed in RUZEM. This work, which we havepublished to fill the existing gap to some extent, does not go intoexcessive detail and primarily targets the intermediate level reader.
