There is not much left for us to say about William Shakespeare, probably the most important and famous playwright in World literature let alone English literature. Though nearly everyone is familiar with his name or at least some of his plays along with some of his sonnets, we do not have much information about him and his life. We have chosen some of Shakespeares comedies for this book you are holding in your hands namely; A Midsummer Nights Dream, As You Like It, Twelfth Night; Or, What You Will, Much Ado About Nothing and The Merchant of Venice. His works may be very old in age; however, they still have great power to influence the very times we are living in.
