Quasimodo is an ugly hunchback. He rings the bells of a church, Notre Dame. One day Quasimodo sees a beautiful gypsy named Esmeralda. He loves her, but she thinks he is a monster. Esmeralda loves a handsome soldier named Phoebus. But another man loves Esmeralda, too. He is an evil man named Frollo. The three men and the gypsy come together in this sad story of love that takes place in and near the church of Notre Dame.
